First Worship
Join us at 8:30a.m. each Sunday for an informal style worship. You are invited to share in songs and prayers and the presence of God’s Spirit.
Weekly Communion is open to all believers in Jesus Christ, and we concludes with a fellowship circle. Children are always welcome in worship.
Summer music is usually guitar or tape.
Second Worship
A more “formal” worship style is held in the church at 10:45a.m. (September – May). During the summer months we worship at 10a.m.
This is a worship time with full choir or special musical performance, and Communion shared in the pews–everyone is welcome to receive. A nursery is provided, as well as a learning experience for younger children. Older children are encouraged to share in our worship. During summer the younger children will enjoy the “Summer Experience”.
Typical of Christan Church (Disciples of Christ) worship are: congregational singing, an emphasis on Scripture, fellowship, and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. In his invitation to Communion, our minister says: “Wherever you are in your life’s journey, you are welcome at the Lord’s Table.” Lay leadership in worship includes service at the Table. As the worship ends, our service in Christ begins!
