EARLY SERVICE -- 8:30 AM |

| During June, July and August, weather permitting, an informal service is held under the trees on the south lawn. You may bring your own lawn chair, or use one of the folding chairs provided. Summer music is usually guitar or tape. Weekly Communion is open to all believers, and concludes with a fellowship circle. Children are welcome in the service. During autumn, winter and spring, the 8:30 service is held indoors. | |

SECOND SERVICE -- 10:00 or 10:45 AM |

A more "formal" service is held in the church at 10:00 AM during the
summer, and at 10:45 during autumn, winter and spring. This is a
service with full choir or special musical performance, and Communion
shared in the pews--everyone is welcome to receive. A nursery is
provided, as well as a learning experience for younger children. Older
children are welcome in the service. This summer the younger children
will enjoy the "Beach Trek" Bible experience.
Typical of Christan Church (Disciples of Christ) worship are:
congregational singing, an emphasis on Scripture, fellowship, and the
celebration of the Lord's Supper. In his invitation to Communion, our
minister says: "Wherever you are in your life's journey, you are
welcome at the Lord's Table." Lay leadership in worship includes
service at the Table.
